I represented the NBA Minnesota Timberwolves as a brand ambassador and game day entertainment dancer for three years. The pressure was always on to be the best dancer, professional, speaker, teammate, and overall good person. The Timberwolves gave me many travel opportunities with my favorite being Rio De Janeiro, Brazil just 5 months before the Olympics. Game day entertainment was the biggest role of this position, but various appearances allowed us to interact with the community.
During all three years of my time on this team, the true test of time management came to play. Not only was I a full time student at the University of Minnesota, but I had this prestigious role as a professional for the National Basketball Association.
I was honored to accept "Rookie of the Year" my first season and "Most Valuable Dancer" my 2nd season on the team. From choreographing routines seen by 20,000+ fans each game to planning team bonding events, I truly utilized my entire time with this organization. This position allowed me to really learn how to represent myself professionally while having an approachable demeanor.
